With the University of Texas campus within walking distance and the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs' complex of richly detailed Greek Revival buildings as its neighbor, this five-story twenty-four unit apartment complex, was placed to take advantage of its corner lot. The exterior materials and details were restrained in keeping with the neighboring Women’s Club. Along its sloped street frontage, a poured-in-place concrete parking structure was provided on two separate levels, without an interior ramp, by taking advantage of the existing slopes of the adjacent city streets. Above the parking levels are three apartments levels, of wood framed construction, surrounding an open-air interior courtyard. Several floor plan types and sizes were incorporated with most having a dedicated study room/area. An exterior balcony is provided at each unit.
